Providing Effective Enneagram Solutions (formerly Workshop 2)

London, UK

Co-led by Beatrice Chestnut and Uranio Paes

The Chestnut Paes’ Professional Certification Track helps coaches, therapists, spiritual directors, teachers, team leaders, HR people and other professionals to produce highly effective “outer impact” in the world when using the Enneagram to help further clients’ development.

The Enneagram system of personality greatly accelerates and deepens work with clients of all kinds because it provides a uniquely insightful way to understand key patterns of defense associated with the personality (or ego) that keep people stuck in repetitive behaviors that limit growth.

In this workshop, Providing Effective Enneagram Solutions, (formerly “Professional Workshop 2″), Beatrice Chestnut and Uranio Paes again use a mix of interactive methodologies to teach participants key ways to integrate the Enneagram in doing effective work with clients:

  • Methods to help clients find their Enneagram Types, Subtypes and Instinctual Sequences using CP Enneagram typing tools (which the participants will be able to use with their own clients after the workshop).
  • Exploration of the efficacy of Enneagram tests currently available and assessing their strengths and weaknesses. How to guide clients after they take these tests and how to make a safe use of them.
  • Newly developed advanced assessment techniques. Exclusive theory and cases to help participants accurately identify how to help each client see themselves more clearly using the Enneagram map, by identifying where exactly where specific problems originate Enneagram-wise. Is this problem type related, more connected to subtype, the dominant or repressed instinct, or the result of a shift in level of awareness, or something else? Real cases will be used together with theory and practice to build participants’ competency to do a more sophisticated reading of clients’ issues and paths of growth, as well as how to more effectively help them.
  • More advanced approaches to working with the Enneagram with clients, including utilizing the diagram’s inner dynamism by using arrow-line-connected points as balancing points or antidotes for the key issues of the main type.
  • New information about how to understand levels of awareness and higher potentials in clients.

Participants who complete Workshop 2 will acquire a unique capacity to help clients complete accurate Enneagram profiles, while identifying what exactly is going on and how to solve the most central problems. This will greatly enhance the professional’s capacity to use the Enneagram in its complexity and potential reach. And, a model of an Enneagram professional development plan will follow.

This outstanding  course is a must for coaches who are serious about using the Enneagram with their clients.  Bea and Uranio provide wise and actionable insight into how coaches can best work with the head, body and heart types.  Their deep knowledge and skill come through in every morsel of this training.  If you are committed to coaching your clients through change and you use the Enneagram (as background or foreground), this is the program for you.

Monticello House

45 Russell Square
London – UK
Postcode: WC1B 4JP

The house has a sign outside saying “Anglo Educational Services.” Just press the button saying reception and they will open the door for you.

Monticello House is very well located in Bloomsbury, a central area of London.

A light lunch and two coffee breaks will be provided per day, one in the morning around 10:30am and the other in the afternoon around 3:00pm.

Lodging and other meals are not included.

The Greater London area has five main airports where you can into, depending on where you are coming from.

The airport closest to Monticello House is London City Airport, but there are not many flight options going to that airport.

If you arrive or depart from any other of the major airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted or Luton), the best way to go to Monticello house is taking the airport express train to the final station and then the subway to Monticello House.

Local Transportation:

Monticello House is also very well located for people using public transportation.

There are three different subway (“tube”) stations from three different and major subway lines within ten-minute walk from there:

  • Russell Square Station (Piccadilly Line – “dark blue line”) – 5 minutes
  • Holborn Station (Central Line – “red line”) – 7 minutes
  • Tottenham Court Road (Northern Line – “black line”) – 10 minutes

Many different buses coming from and to different places in town also have stops close to the venue.

Suggested nearby hotels:

London is an expensive city when it comes to hotel stays. Nevertheless, most of our students choose to stay in hotels, while a few choose to stay in local AirBnb rental places.

There are several good hotel options within walking distance from Monticello House. Here are a few options (from likely more expensive to likely more budget friendly):

  • The Montague on the Gardens
  • The Hoxton, Holborn
  • Hotel Mercure London Bloomsbury
  • Jurys Inn London Holborn
  • DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London – West End
  • Celtic Hotel
  • President Hotel
  • Imperial
  • Ruskin Hotel
  • Grange Buckingham
  • Grange Clarendon
  • Grange White Hall (economical option among hotels)
  • Royal National (economical option among hotels)
  • Astor Museum Hostel (very economical option of hostel)

When you book, make sure you are booking the right hotel, in Bloomsbury or close, as sometimes there are hotels with similar names in far away parts of town.

We suggest you look these hotels up on Trip Advisor, choose yours and book online.

Given that there are three good subway stations close to the venue, you can also choose to stay in the place of your choice anywhere in town close to a subway station of one of the lines above (Piccadilly, Central or Northern).

If you have booked a hotel in Clapham because of the venue booked prior to this new one, don’t worry, as you can get to Monticello House in only 30 minutes from Clapham Common Station.

Accommodation expenses will be on your own.
