Enneagram Pathways: Instincts and Subtypes
Come to this 2-day workshop right after the Lisbon International Enneagram Conference to learn much more about how to increase self-awareness through more frequently recognizing the ways you are unconsciously driven by your instincts in concert with your emotional and mental habits. Revolutionize your self-understanding through moving your Enneagram work to a whole new level.
This workshop will help you deepen your experience of the Enneagram of Personality as a powerful tool for personal and professional development. Once you have an understanding of the nine types—the nine sets of habitual patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving—you can further your growth journey by seeing how three core instinctual survival drives—for self-preservation, relating to social groups, and one-to-one bonding—play out in your life.
In all of us, our personality acts as a kind of self-limiting “default mode” of operating that can hold us back from our own liberation and higher potentials. Our instinctual drives represent both our “animal wisdom” and the most potent and least conscious motive force driving the way our automatic patterns play out.
Through gaining a clearer sense of how you can self-observe the interplay of your dominant (and repressed) instinctual drivers and your type’s “passion” or key emotional habit, you can more consciously liberate yourself from old ways of being and open a pathway to manifesting a more whole or higher expression of who you really are.
Beatrice and Uranio will present their specific approach to working with the instinct and subtype parts of the Enneagram system of personality, which is based on seminal Enneagram author Claudio Naranjo’s highly detailed descriptions of the 27 “sub-type” personalities. Through lecture, videos, and panels of participants representing the different subtypes telling their stories, we will share a powerful experience of this enlightening and transformative aspect of the Enneagram map.
